On 1 November, Mark Hoffmann took over as CEO of softgarden, one of Germany’s leading recruitment software providers and a part of Grupa Pracuj. Mark brings 15 years of experience in managing and growing businesses in the online recruitment classifieds and media sectors. He succeeds Kirill Mankovski, who stepped down as CEO at the end of October.
Kirill led softgarden for nearly four years. I would like to thank him for his dedication and contribution to the development of both softgarden and the wider Group.
- said Przemysław Gacek, CEO of Grupa Pracuj, softgarden’s parent company.

Germany remains a strategically important market for us, which is why we wanted softgarden’s new CEO to be someone who knows the market well and has strong ties to it. Mark Hoffmann is exactly that person. I am confident that his experience and deep industry knowledge will quickly translate into positive business results.
- added Przemysław Gacek.
Earlier in his career, he co-founded and helped build Gruenderszene.de, one of the leading media brands in Germany’s start-up ecosystem, which was later acquired by Axel Springer. Since 2022, he has also served on the Board of Directors of Swiss investment firm Backbone Ventures.
I am joining softgarden at a very exciting time. The company has demonstrated that even in a challenging market and difficult economic environment, it can continue to gain market share and grow its customer base. Together with the team, I want to build on this momentum. I see particularly strong opportunities in the increasing adoption of AI and employers’ growing readiness to implement modern HR Tech solutions. I am excited to contribute to the next stage of softgarden’s development.
- said Mark Hoffmann, CEO of softgarden.
